I've been going around in circles looking for my next car and think that for what I do (ie few miles) a Caterham type experience is what I want.

BUT I've had them before and I don't want to only use it 1 day a year when its sunny and I don't want to get cold / wet.

So is there a 'caterham coupe' type kit - ie I want the caterham thrills with a bit more comfort ?

I don't want some Ferrari lookalike - how it drives is 99% of the equation.

And I already have a Supercharged MX5 so that's removed the first few replies. wink

GTM Libras look quite nice and would be more practical.

Mate of mine had a GTM with a V6 out of an MG ZS I think, very quick and quite nice inside with alcantara and stuff.

The Marlin Berlinetta would seem to suit - Seven-style driving experience, art-deco looks and coupe comfort:

Or maybe, if you fancy something 'classic', a Tifosi Rana:

It's not necessarily a dodgy replica (or, in eBay parlance, 'RELPICCA'), seeing as though the Midget it's based on was itself derived from the original Sprite, but unlike either Sprite or Midget, the body won't rust. There's a hood and a hardtop available and more tuning measures you care to think of (including dropping a K-series in there).

i didn;t finish before..but of the 'mainstream' i like the gtm libra type cars. i have seen one with a k20a.

there's this other thing called a phoenix (i think) often with a honda 2.7 v6 or kv6 or honda k20a.
