I'm coming out
Discussion
i just wanted to right my wrong of a few months back.
i saw one GT from head on 'when they weren;t out yet' and thought it looked passable. i would like to say that in fact it is not even approaching being passable.
i don't understand the pointless A4/A5 rover 800 thing either but at least that's good looking.

The A5 Sportback? My dad's considering one to replace his A4 Avant- they're bigger inside than the A4 and better looking too. Wonder if they'll do an RS5 one? That would be a laugh.Cock Womble 7 said:
I saw one in white the other day and thought someone was driving round in a Stormtrooper's helmet.
It's a white one round the corner from my house that has 'turned' me. Dark windows, big wheels and it's been debadged. I should hate it. I really should. I just have this strange urge to tell the owner "nice car mate" next time I see him. He'll probably laugh. Or bum me. Maybe I'll like that too.ManOpener said:

I can't think of any BMW's in SE spec that float my boat. Maybe the early 335i coupe as it came with huge wheels and lookded pretty but thats it.
BMWs are designed to grow on you. It may be a bit radical now but in 5 years time it will be the nuts. Thats the way most of their popular models have been recieved over the last 20 years.
There was a great article that Mr Bangal wrote explaining the thought behind all of this, I just cant find it.

.... I quite like the x6. I wouldn't ever own one, ever, but I think it looks amazing. Sorry. That is all.
Well sadly I'd have to admit to the same heinous crime. I'm not a big fan of 4x4's but there's something completely bonkers about the X6 that really floats my boat.Gassing Station | General Gassing [Archive] | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
