Car currently at 54,500 miles.
It needs a reasonably major service at 56k miles, which I've been quoted a reasonably price by both a local garage and a Mazda Approved dealer.
At the end of June I'm taking the car on a 4,000 mile road trip, added to the 1500 miles I'll do in the next 5 weeks before we go away on holiday.
I want to get the car serviced both before, and after the trip.
Would you take it to Mazda beforehand for the major service, and then the local garage after for a simple checkover, OR the other way around - checkover/oil service before trip, then major service afterwards?
