Can anyone recommend a good online shop that I can buy parts for BMW e36 3 series? All I can seem to find via google are either portals to random st or just generally crap websites.

Eurocarparts may have the part I need (Fan switch) but they lis 6 for my car, 2 of which have photos, both of which aren't the one.

I preferably want somewhere I can search by BMW part number. Failing that, somewhere that actually has a description or pictures of the parts.

Cheers

Try this:

www.realoem.com

Find part number.

Order correct part from ECP.

Job Jobbed.

not realy as ECP dont list the manufacturer part numbers. Or atleast they are nothing like any of the ones on realoem.

In that case try FAB Direct.

Or Ebay.

Or your local motor factors on Monday...

I have found Cotswold BMW via the sub forum on bmwland.co.uk to be excellent.

Genuine parts, 10% discount and free delivery.

If they don't have the part in stock then just use their quote system, usually reply within a working day and prices are discounted over RRP.
I've used them quite a few times and very happy with the service.

I have used http://www.bmminiparts.com/Home.aspx many times. Toby is a top bloke and service is excellent.
