Tartan or leather?

[maxp]

Just interested in what peoples thoughts are of the tartan interior on the golf mk5 gti, compared with the leather option.

I think its abit marmite (people either love it or hate it!)

Tartan, alot nicer IMHO.

The leather looks nice... but thats all, it would never give you that little smile or feel that little bit special unlike the tartan.

Tartan. End of. I adore Gtis with tartan.

How about the GTI Edition 30? Tartan and leather!

Tartan. Retrimmed in your family tartan if you're Scottish (like I did with my Mrk1 years ago

Of all the cars I wish I'd never sold, thats the one.

Tartan, far nicer to sit on when its hot or cold out . . . . . . . . . . .which is one of the reasons I ticked that box and not leather when I ordered mine

[tstain]

tartan suits the character of the car better.

Tartan does suit balls out driving, if you see what I mean

Normally prefer leather but in that sort of car I prefer the cloth
