Some (supercar?) event around Basingstoke over the weekend??

Heading back home yesterday evening after being thoroughly baked, saw a convoy of interesting cars.

3x Ferraris (memory is fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure there was 1x355 and 1x360)
1x 911 (not sure which model, other than something from the last ten year) that was stuck between them

This was around 8pm - possibly on their way back from an event, but I somehow can't see those cars being based in Basingstoke, or to be honest I can't even think of why someone would want to drive through Basingstoke .... the roads are incredibly boring.
