Having sold my beloved ranger classic a couple of hours ago- through circumstances only (ie fuel costs) what have you sold, and still miss. Or indeed what have you sold, and re bought the same model later.
I'm getting my 99 skoda octavia diesel estate tomorrow, I'm going to miss the classic hugely, but will relish the better economy.

Over to you.....,

About 4 years ago, I sold a '94 BMW 530i V8.

After having been through about 5 cars since, I now have a V8 again (BMW 535i).

TVR TUSCAN...regretted it the minute it left my drive, but 11 points on my licence left me with little choice. It has taken me 3 years to get back into a TVR again this time with a Cerbera and thank goodness I did ,it is AWESOME!!

A Mk II Granada 2.8 Special :-(

And strangely enough my old Mondeo - It was like a cockroach, as not only was it impossible to kill but i believe it would have survived a Nuclear holocaust

My '98 Saab 9000 2.3T Anniversary. Great car. Bought cheap, distress purchase, had it 18 months and it never missed a beat. Didn't handle of course but went like a rocket, in utter comfort.

Should never have sold it. It came up for sale a month ago in Sheffield so I went up to have a look at it with a view to buying it back. Alas, it was knackered, so I didn't. Such a rare car nowadays too.

Sold my 94 530i V8 8 years ago. Still miss it, in spite of its intergalactic mileage.

I regret selling my Clio 182 Trophy hugely - nothing before or since has measured up. I'd never get another, though. There are simply too many different cars out there to experience so I feel buying two of the same is a bit of a missed opportunity. I'd also be continuously comparing it to the first one in case it was ever so slightly different in some respect!

I had a Renault Scenic 2.0 16v Monaco that I never wish i'd sold. Not because it was a good car, but because the car that came after it swallowed such a huge chunk of cash/time/life that I wish I really hadn't of bothered, I can't help but think i'd be much better off now if I hadn't made that decision.

A Porsche 964 I had practically rebuilt to my spec, in viper green.

Many happy drives from London to Cornwall in that car, once getting back to London in time for breakfast with O/H asleep all the way back thank goodness.

New owner knows he has a minter and won't sell it back to me.

Porsche 993. Had to due to recent (at the time) redundancy and now it'd have been worth about £10k more.. still, I miss it because it was the finest car I've yet to own. Loved it.

My old P1 V70R, It was a brilliant car. I miss it more than my Cerbera.

Much like the Saab above, bought cheapish, could park it anywhere, went like stink and would cover serious miles in mega comfort.

I did kind of miss my old MG when it went - a man never forgets his first car. I miss it a bit more now that my mate said he saw it shiny side down in a ditch the other week, and it's subsequently off the insurance database frown
