Surely the policeman should have stopped this rider sooner?
Following on an unmarked bike surely was egging this fella on, albeit a plank of a guy!

Link, have no idea what you are talking about frown

Edit: but I'm sure I've seen clarkson drive a car from the rear seats before with string to turn the steering wheel, and litter picker to change gear?

If you seriously think that represents entrapment then you are mad!

Why not stop him sooner, surely once he pulled that wheelie was enough of a reason to pull the fella?

Instead he continues to pace the guy achieving what. Wonder what the repercussions would have been if the guy had stacked it and in court the Policeman was asked to explain why he followed him for so long before taking any action?

One question that would be interesting to know the answer to, would when the Police bike put its lights and siren on, if the answer is not until after the biker was doing 140, then not only would it suggest entrapment, but IMHO, the Police rider on the bike should also be disciplined.

You can see the police bike had its lights flashing well before the biker in front hoofed off at 140mph. When the bike passes under the bridge you can see the blue flashes on the side of the bridge and reflected off the other vehicles.

Rider was just being a plank.

So, subject bike is doing 143mph. Cop puts on sirens and lights, subject biker thinks "Oh st" and ends up going down the road on his face at 130mph.

The cop did the right thing pulling him when it was safe to do so IMHO.

It was for the Vauxhall Signum, yes he did indeed drive it from the back seat for a short while.
Indecently as I own said Signum it is suited for being a passenger more than the driver but it does a very good job as being a boring work horse

That was my impression, too.

Brave, but very silly man. There are usually police camera vans on those bridges on your way into and out of Maidstone.

I hope that the cars that were bimbling along in the 2nd lane of the dual carriageway, with nothing on their inside, also got a summons for driving without due care and attention.

Targetting the front or rear of vehicles?

Is it wrong to think that the video is pretty cool? cool
