Got one of these as a hire car in Cyprus today. Washed out green with baby sick colour interior.

Never driven an auto in my life but didnt really get much of a choice as this was dropped off while I was sleeping.

Its an old fashioned autobox, smooth changes, kicks down when you dont want it to and wont when you do...... however being a hire car it took a ragging well. Hooned to the border viewpoint outside Protaras, cruised into Nicosea, thrashed up the Troodos, raced down the other side into Limasol and back over to Agia Napa.

It rode well, was comfortable enough, decent brakes, epic understeer coming down the hills!

I'd really recommend these wee cars....for your Dad.

Anyone else driven one? Only ones in UK I know of are the ones Arnold Clark took from a cancelled fleet order for Ireland.

Loads of cars here we dont get back home, Toyota I C T is it, or I C S ? Cracking little car, looks like an IQ and Suzuki Swift made babies, way better than the Yaris.

Believe you would be correct. I had one as a hire car for a month in sa. I thrashed the pants off it i hated it so much. I wanted it dead. Oddly it refused to die though i nearly baked the brakes once. Was convinced the car was going to catch fire with the smell coming from it.
