POS Megane throttle pedal trouble
Discussion
The Mrs' 56 plate Megane is playing up (surprise).
Occasionally when she tries to accelerate, the car actually decelerates, as if the the ECU hasnt registered that shes pushing the pedal down. Its done it to me too. Is this a common fault? Is this likley to be the TPS or a pedal sensor? Given the effort required to change a headlight bulb, I shudder at the thought of doing a pedal sensor or whatever.
Its only quite occasional, but its a worry as it dont want the car zigging when she wants to zag.
Note: Last service at main stealer showed no fault codes on the diagnostic.

Ah, typical main dealers - no fault code, no fault. What ever happened to good old fault finding?
I'm assuming the Megane has a "fly by wire" throttle, which means it's likely to be the pedal that's faulty. A new one should be cheap from a Reno breakers, and a couple of screws and a cable to swap.
