Car hire in UK

[PomBstard]

I'm bringing the family over to the UK for the first time in five years, and I'll need a load-lugger for a couple of weeks. Other than renting from the usual Avis/Hertz/Europcar/Budget crowd are there any other companies to have a look at - not just for low prices but for something a bit different. I'm not talking Panamera/Quattroporte different, just, well, different to a Laguna or whatever special is on that week.

We'll be starting and finishing in London, if there are any regional/local outfits to consider.

Thanks in advance.

Dunno how "different" the cars might be but a friend rented from

the other week and found them pretty good.

Am sure some other people will be along with other suggestions soon though.
