I've got a 2001 Alfa GTV as a bit of a toy and I'm currently trying to find the most cost-effective way of insuring it. It's only going to see very limited mileage on sunny days etc. so I was wondering whether I might be able to throw it on a modern classic policy or something like that?

Anyone got any recommendations for a cost-effective way of doing this? Names or websites to visit appreciated! It's one of these things where if it's going to cost me a fortune to keep, I'll need to let it go as I really can't justify it as anything more than a toy...I'm sort of attached to it though...

Cheers!

Bizarre! Just did an online quote and they want over £1000 a year!! I never paid half that even when it was my main car - I wonder what causes that?

Not sure why, they've normally been quite cheap for a LM policy.

Lancaster - not sure whether they'll be cheap for something that new though. Good luck smile
