Whilst it's annoying, I'd just assume it's a DB9 with no optional extras. You'd think he'd clean it for the ad though.

Does MOT, tax and service history mean nothing to people nowadays?

I found that about 90% of autotrader adds have this missing. Instead have all the default rubbish that people obviously can't be arsed to change. Solid paint, iso-fix...

Maybe he's not near the car. I've advertised cars that i don;t have immediate access to before. When my old car was parked up at my Grandad's, i stuck an ad up with whatever old photos i had of it. They weren't taken with a view to selling it, so no interior shots etc.

Once i'd agreed a few viewings, i arranged to go down there at a weekend, and sold the car.

If I was the the market for a DB9, I wouldn't even give that a second glance based purely on the quality of the advert.
