I know it is a mass family car, but when I saw first photos I was very pleasantly surprised.

Looks boring IMO - like any PSA car.

But I must ask, what on earth does "abschicken" in the black box mean? hehe

I'm definitely seeing some A1 in there, almost looks as if it could be the new A3, I like it

How can you say that? I personally think PSA have some pretty bold and interesting designs:
308, RCZ, current C4 Coupe, the new C3 and DS3 to name just a few...

Compare these with designs from the Koreans, say Hyundai I30 or the Kia Cee'd, or even the Germans i.e VW Golf etc and they do stand out from the crowd, they may not be good looking but they can't really be classed as 'boring'

Maybe it will look different in the flesh, who knows. But I just hate the insistence of car manufacturers to make every car bigger and more bloated than the one before. I appreciate that a lot of it is to do with the EU and safety regulations, but cars just seem to be getting more and more anonymous frown I agree with most of the cars you mention, except the 308 which is so bland and bloated I can't stand it! Although I do have the classic get-out clause for this view though; it's all IMHO wink

Looks quite classy, since the C5, Citroen have looked a bit more German but they still have that essential Citroen quirkiness. IIRC they will also be bringing out a DS4 which will be a sportier alternative. If the reviews of the DS3 are anything to go by, it would seem Citroen have remembered how to make a fun car!

Mmm....compared to the design of the current one, I find this a bit bland. Like has already been said, this is very much like an Audi...most of which IMO are also bland!

After Citroens recent concepts, their new DS3 and even the current C5 and C6, I would have hoped for more but I guess its too much of a mainstream market to take a risk on. I wonder if they're launching a 3-door and with any luck, the DS4 will be much more interesting.

Another one who thinks it's pretty bland TBH - Take the badges off and it could be from almost any European manufacturer - Citroen have had a range that looked a bit different up until this (C4 Coupe, DS3 etc..)

Gf has her old c3 and her new c3 at the moment. it's quite surprising just how 'bloated' the new one is. from above it looks about 20% bigger overall. The interior (1.6i exclusive) is very smart/audi ish. has the quirky screen/sunroof all in one affair going on - which i guess is the innovation quota which is the citroen trademark? the bmw 1.6 125bhp engine is pretty responsive... an expensive car that feels light and nippy but it is pretty bland to drive. not really a 'drivers car'.
