Vehicle check

I've just put a deposit down on a car but want to do a vehicle check to make sure it's not been pinched, bent etc.

Can anyone recommend where I should go to get this done please?

Cheapest way is to text CTC <reg-no> to 83600. Costs £3

depending on how much the car costs I'd go for the £30 HPI one here http://www.hpicheck.com/ as I'm not sure how much protection the text check one's give. The one above is up to £30k.

Have just done a HPI check (£19.99 for a single check) and all is well with the car.

I've always used RAC myself. Cheapest comprehensive check.
