Le Mans LMP1 newbies Team Beechdean Mansell were so chuffed by the enthusiasm of our 10 competition winners who spent the day at Silverstone watching the Mansells test for the big race ahead, that as well as agreeing to run our Smiley logo on the car, they've decided to extend a couple of very special offers to PHers everywhere.

Collector Print Discount
First-off is a generous 25 per cent discount on this fabulous print of Nigel Mansell and the team's Ginetta Zytek racer in full flight, commissioned by the team from renowned motorsport artist Colin Carter.

Colin's highly collectable picture is entitled 'Return of Red 5', and is available from the team signed either by both the Artist and the Driver, or by the Artist alone. We saw the picture when we visited team HQ a while back, and it's mega!

The Driver and Artist signed print normally retails at £150 + p&p, but PistonHeads readers can secure one for the special price of £112.50 + p&p.

The Artist signed print normally retails at £100 + p&p, and is available to PHers for the special price of £75 + p&p.

To order, visit the Beechdean Mansell shop, select your preferred option, and when you come to check-out simply enter the PistonHeads picture code of PRINT2567 to claim your 25 percent saving.

Race Club Membership Discount
The second PistonHeads offer is discounted membership of the Beechdean Mansell Race Club.

PHers can join the club, again via the team shop, and save £5 on the cost of membership. Simply use the code BMRC20 at checkout time to get your discount.

Once you have joined, you will then be eligible for a further 10 percent discount off all merchandise from the Beechdean shop, (which is a standard membership benefit) on top of exclusive team updates and exciting competition opportunities to come, they tell us.

If you don't see why you should, have a listen to Team Principal Andrew Howard on this clip we filmed at the end of the Silverstone test session last week:

Colin Carter's a really gifted artist. It's a pity he's having to prostitute himself by painting a picture of embarrassing Nigel. Mind the white lines at La Sarthe old chap....

PH should need a gambling License for this. If he wins his class, they'll be worth £170 in July. If the car doesnt finish, they'll be bird cage liners.

I'm guessing the support for old Nige will be immense at Le Mans. Not sure how he will do, the car may be a little fragile and it is a strange event. But can't help feeling some of the jibes on various threads on here are a bit unecessary. Say what you like about Nigel, but it is indisputable that he is a pretty good wheelman and extremely deidcated to actually driving the wheels of everything he gets a go in.

Good Luck Nige and Sons! We'll be rooting for you from our little corner of Le Mans, that's for sure. I can't afford a print though, no matter how much I'd like one! !

Agreed. I could forgive the wonky wheels, if you don't have a technical drawing background then they are difficult to get right but the sharp advertising hoardings take away any sense of speed.

I think I'll have to change from corporate to motorsport illustration if this is the renowned competition

Maybe the advertising hordings are digital and were in the transition faze to another advert?
