Very annoyed to receive one last week, as the area in question wasn't clearly marked as 'out of bounds' to motorists.

Don't feel like paying the penalty, as I think it's the council's responsibility to make these things CLEAR.

Just wondering if anyone has NOT paid one of these and what the consequences might be of not paying?

Feelling bolshy!

TBH, everyone feels hard done by when they get a parking ticket when they are often actually in the wrong. However, if it really wasn't well marked, you can appeal by sending an email to the local council qouting all the info on the ticket. I did this, and got a reply a few days later saying that I didn't have to pay the fine as the road wasn't clearly marked. Worth a go?
