Been looking seriously about one of these, it'll be my daily driver (i understand that the ride will be firm)
This looks likes a good one to me, with a/c and other things aswell as having the cup chassis.
Thoughts?

That's a beauty and the recaro seats fitted to these are nicer than the older ones IMO. Do a lot of motorway driving though? The older 197 revs fairly high in top gear at 70 and is apparently quite annoying.
Bit of an odd suggestion but the Renaultsport Megane DCi? Still plenty of power (above 170bhp IIRC) but good mpg.
Curry Curry Curry, we have discussed this repeatedly round 'ring and silverstone.
Your choices are:
Corsa VXR
VXR220
Monaro
I cant be the only Vauxhall lover on these forums.
On the other side of the coin, Twingo looks to be a nice car, hear good things about them and very fun to drive so I have heard. If only you can live with Ross Kemp in the boot, go for it. You are looking at a cost to change tho, you can get a facelift 1.2 corsa Pre Reg for just over 9k.

I'm still just getting quotes atm Nick. The VXR/220/Ro is fine, but I fancy a change away from the griffin and I've always liked the Renaultsport range.Your choices are:

On the flip, what's the book price on my car - 2008 1.4 SXI with sunroof and 17" wheels. 29,300 on the clock, black?

Just heard back from these guys, they are looking at £243 a month for 4 years followed by a baloon payment of £3,000 odd at the end of it.Been looking seriously about one of these, it'll be my daily driver (i understand that the ride will be firm)

Would you be happy spending £14,664 over that period for a car worth maybe £4,000 (if you are lucky) at the end?Being nieve in these things, what are people's thoughts.

Sounds expensive to me - that's £14,664 in total for a £9k car. Being nieve in these things, what are people's thoughts.
Have you looked at getting a bank loan? You'd pay less than £240 a month on a 4 year bank loan of £9k, and at least the car's all yours.
