£9k. 14 wheels.

The wife and i have put the current fleet up for sale. I've 9k to replace it. I need:

A large workhorse.
A long-legged special occasion car
A convertible/roadster
A sportsbike, purely for fun on nice days.

Only the special occasion car will receive much love and attention, they will all be used in all weathers and anything particularly nice won't stay so for long. The missus boasts a devastating bump-parking technique, so i'm not precious about looking after cars. In short, bangers are alright by me.

My current thinking is:
E39 5 series touring 1.5k
XJS 3.5k
Mk1 mx5 2k
Early Aprilia rsv mille 2k

Anyone any further ideas?

1. Some sort of Volvo estate, 850 or V70
2. Mid eighties 6 series or Merc CE
3. Mk1 MX-5, can't argue with that, just watch for rusty sills...
4. Honda NC30 if you don't need a big bike or adjust your budget a wee bit and look at Suzuki GSX1000 or late nineties Fireblade?
