Exporting a Cat D or C car

Hello,
I am looking at buying a car and exporting it to spain.

It will be there for a good 4 to 5 years, so obviously it will need to be re reg'd as a spanish car.

So my questions is does the "write off" complicate this (or even, will it "clean" this part of the history when it comes back to the uk? Not a requirement at all just wondered)

Makes no difference, there is a large trade in written off cars being exported to places like Poland and Latvia

ETA

And yes the car will still be on the hit list when it comes back, the clasifications are stored against the chassis / vin number
