no your not losing it, no doubt something to do with what was once a fairly common site on the road, now becoming a rather rare one. . . . . . . . . . . . . and can be great fun trying to get round corners on two wheels and a door handle! . . . . . . . . . . . or when fitted with the motor out of an Ami / turbo charged 
They are cool. Most cars on the road are boring, they are not.

I may be biased as my mum had a 2CV from new on an E plate and had it until about 1999, it was the car I drove after passing my test and although I was grateful for the freedom of driving, it was always quite an embarassment. They weren't cool, aren't cool and won't ever be cool.
