The rarest car you've seen on the road this year?

Was on the way back from Mercedes Benz World I saw one of these on the M25 driven by an old dear. First time I've ever seen on in the flesh, let alone on the road.

Well I dunno if it bests yours but I did see an original shape élan the other day, first time I ever saw one. Lovely little car.

Dark red Maclaren F1 (being driven with huge restraint)going south on the A1M.

It was cruising at 60mph odd all the way down a 7 mile dead straight 4 lane carriageway.
I don’t think id have the self restraint to do that.

A Bristol 400 - Nowhere near this condition but really nice to see. Also spotted a 405 as well. I think there was a gathering somewhere.

I was at quite a distance, like across the field, but it looked so much like one.
If not, it was a very well kept Land Rover Defender, but i'm 90% sure it was a lamborghini!

If you drive down a certain street in Mayfair, you're bound to see one. It's parked there most days, obviously the owner doesn't have a garage.

It's been a good year for rare car spotting this year for me:
Mclaren F1 last month (A325 Farnham - Bordon, turning to go to Alton).
Morgan Aero 8 last month too, we swapped appreciative waves (centre of Liphook)
Ferrari F40 this week (driving through Ripley, near Woking).

I suppose the rarest one would be the Mclaren MP4-12C in zebra camouflage driving south bound through Woking on the A320 but that was last year.

Saw one of these a few weeks ago. Had to do some research to find out what it was. Luckily, I took down the reg, which helped.

They made 77 of them in the early 30's..not sure how many are still around. Was suprised to see one for sale for €850,000.

Oh, almost forgot to say what it is... An Invicta Type S.
