Evening all,

I am a little confused as to which side of my panel filter I should spray with oil. Its a 'Green' panel filter. The instructions on the 'green' site say to 'spray the interior surface of the filter with oil' but then it has an illustration of someone spraying the outside of a tubular filter. (see link)

http://www.green-filter.co.uk/information.php?info...

Can anyone confirm which side is to be sprayed?

The cleaner in step 3 is a fluid in a bottle and not a spray though.

cant help feeling that those 9 steps are 8 more than required with a paper filter.

spray the inside edge.
The cotton draps the larger bits of dust whereas the oil traps the smaller bits, so it needs to go on the inside
