Need some info, trying to figure out what these types of headlights are called:

The picture is not great, probably should have taken it in the dark, but basically there are 2 rings which light up around the main bulb.

They are on my 2005 BMW E90, the car has xenon headlamps which I am pretty sure are an optional extra, but not sure how best to describe the sidelights, I’m preparing an advert as I want to sell it hence the question.

Also the car has lights in the door handles which light up when you unlock the car in the dark again does anyone know the name for that feature?

I've seen it called Halo lights or Angel eyes in the past.

I'm no expert, but I think the Angel Eyes (CCFL rings) were standard, but Xenons are an option.

on that model year angel eyes are only included with the xenon option, they didnt become standard fit till my 09, then they came with led indicators when you ticked the xenon option. So to answer the question op, xenons and angel eyes are included in the same option. The door courtesy lights are standard on se spec

Those angel eyes won't be CCFL rings, and i doubt any manufacturer will be using them due to their poor reliability, especially in sealed headlight units.
BMW as far as i know stick to a simple light carrier and halogen or LED bulbs.

Also, the official name won't be angel eyes, which is some odd phrase that came out of nowhere and stuck, like "vaders" for M3 seats, notable as they look nothing like anything to do with Darth Vader.
