There's plenty of perfectly pointless ways to waste money on a car, but can anything beat this?

Gotta say, it's not my cup o' tea, and there are some things that I deride, but it's his car so WTF?!?!?!

Your car, your rules. If noone else likes then WTF?!?!?

You must admit though that's got to take a bit of thought and investment to put it together don't you think?

(I had some crazy ideas around MKIII Cortinas when I was young but didn't have the 'spondooliks' to put them to fruition. I dare say if I had the funds, the results would have been a damned sight less tastefull!!)

I agree it's quite an achievement and I would never wish to prevent someone from doing such a thing if they so wished.

But it's still entirely and utterly pointless, which amused me hence I started this thread.

If it makes him happy then I don't see how it is pointless really.

Makes the door pockets a bit redundant.

The bit where the doors are swivelling and the boot is opening and closing reminded me of that scene in Confessions of a Driving Instructor where the Triumph Herald falls apart because Timothy Lea is having such theatrical intercourse in it.

I think it would have been more suited put to some softer, slow-dance music. The stuff playing in that video makes it seem like the idea of having spinning rear doors is a serious attempt to be cool.

Ah, the Jeddah boys. Been around for quite a while. Not really most peoples cup of tea but it was a show car for them I think.

Maybe it was a show car to say hey look what I can build if you want.
