I cannot see how that is legal, no mudguards, tyres are not DOT rated (think that's the correct term), single headlight, pretty sure some of the bodywork would not get through an SVA test etc etc.
Probably classed as an invalid carriage or something similar to get around IVA issues? Ebay advert says it's limited by law to 10HP so suggests it's not classed as a normal road vehicle.Mroad said:

Driving around in that (assuming it is legal), would it look like you:
a) were on day release from the local mental asylum?
b) were employed by Fisher Price?
c) had a penchant for eating flies?
d) were a practical opportunist, combining a daily run-around and a track-day special?
e) had no spinal components?
f) had no friends?
g) all of the above.

Ace. Someone finally started importing them. If it's under a certain weight and power it's probably gone through the ridiculously lenient lightweight IVA thing, I forget the offical name.
3 grand's a bit much for a toy unfortunately.
How much power do the crappy rental carts you get at tracks normally have? Is 10hp enough?

Obviously if I bought one that engine might accidentally fall off and be replaced with something with a bit more poke. I was just curious about how quick it is as standard, honest.
