This one looks pretty good!.

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2010...

Obviously there are alot better car's you could buy for £39,995 (pretty sure you could get a gallardo for that amount) But it's a pretty decent attempt!.
Anyone know what the donor car would be?.
tried to upload picture's to compare this to a real one but having problems with Pc sorry!.

Dreadful car, absolutely shocking.

Also, if any one from Autotrader is reading it would really make my evening if you could confirm the moron who commissioned your site redesign has been fired or sent to the Gulag?

Thanks

Glass fibre tat or a diablo / 360 / 355 / 911 turbo etc etc . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . you'd have to be insane to even consider that sort of kit car for that money

Slightly OT but, I wonder how many PH'ers would be able to tell that is a kit car without looking at the interior shots..

I am pretty sure I wouldn't.

Rear wheels are too far inboard, and don't even sit in the centre of the arch. Couple of dodgy panel fits at the rear.

I can think of better ways to waste £40k

Good point although it not perfect at a quick glance if that drove past i doubt i could tell the difference, as you said though the interior does give it away.
As far as replica's go it definately one of the better one's but i can't understand why someone would spend £39,995 on that? just dosn't make sense to me!

I also wouldn't spend £40k on it, but there's no denying that's a pretty smart kit. If I saw it on the street I'd doubt I'd guess it was a replica.

No idea why anyone would buy a replica full stop. You either have the car or you don't. A bit like fossils, I see plenty of "replica" fossils for sale - what is the point?

Exactly my thoughts - the way the rear wheels sit looks very wrong to me, way to narrow.

They are just made out of something or other to look like fossils, I don't even think they actually make a cast of a real one - There was a Smilodon head for I think a grand - fake. I just can't understand it..

Why did he feel the need to post a picture of a slapper posing in a public toilet?
