Driving to work in the traffic this morning and the elderly twonk in the car to my right decided he wanted exactly the same piece of tarmac I was on.

He didn't want to mirror, signal manouevre though. Oh no. He's an elderly experienced driver and knows what he's doing. As can clearly seen by the stripe his N/S mirror has left down the O/S doors of my car.

Assuming it probably hadn't done much damage, and the fact that he decided to then just drive right round the outside of all the traffic without slowing down or stopping, I carried on.

100 yards later on and there he is again. In the lane to my right but obviously needing to move over a lane to negotiate the one way system. Fair play to him this time he waited until there were no cars next to him. No, this time he just pulled straight across, again without signalling so I assume without looking, causing me to brake suddenly so that I didn't get hit again.

What is it with some people?

Take his reg number, report him, and get your car fixed on his insurance. What's the problem?

The damage is negligable so that's not a problem. I was just amazed at how unobservant some people can be.

It's not like my car is unmissable, as proven by the fact that he didn't miss it, it's huge.

Report him anyway, before he causes a serious accident. If they're so unattentive that they don't notice when they collide with another car then they shouldn't be on the road.

OK the guy is an awful driver and deserves reporting.
But why the hell did you let him have a second bite at your cherry?
Most people would have just kept well clear?

Or shunt him in the rear quarter, he'll notice you when you're pushing him sideways down the road. smile

I was quite happily driving along going to work in the traffic and just came across him again.

Wouldn't have been difficult, my car compared to his.
