Quick game we played in the office today, suggestions for an interesting other car for Fridays or days in the summer.

Criteria - under £10k, depreciation kept to a minimum, doesn't have to be all that quick, just a bit different / interesting.

Suggestions so far - 944, older SL, early Boxster, Saab cab

Any more ?

Rag top V8 Defender. £5K gets you a good base vehicle and you can buy a brand new 4.6 Range Rover motor for just over £3K.

Great suggestions, I'd completelt forgotten about a 3.0 GTV.

I've come up with another ( which should als leave some change ) - a 190 Cosworth.

Westfield all the way for me please. I couldn't think of a better car I'd like to jump into, strap my self into and drive home on a sunny Friday evening the long way home from work buzzing with Friday feeling.

Or if that is too hardcore, an Elise or VX220.

wow, really like that colour. Was thinking about buying one of these at one point, then came to my senses and bought a reliable, cheap to run car (Stag). Long way to go if it turns out to be a shed...
