Solid-Gold Veyron Model: Yours For £2m

Super-exclusive 1:18 scale Bugatti revealed

For some, a Bburago or Maisto 1:18 scale model car will never be enough. It's for those people, we presume, that this replica Bugatti Veyron has been created.

It's made from solid 24-carat gold, platinum and 7.2 carats of single-cut diamonds.

A mere three examples of the model, which has been created by Robert Gulpen of Munich and Stuart Hughes of Liverpool, will be made.

If that doesn't sound like very many, you'll understand the reason for its rarity when we tell you that each ne will cost a whopping £2m - that's considerably more than the full-size car.

Still, it does have working doors, bonnet and steering...

Will probs weigh as much as a full size car as well if it really is "solid" gold.

If you're gonna spend that much on a chunk of gold crafted into the shape of a car, you could at least make it a good looking one!

Yes, but only a Veyron owner would find this classy - and possibly afford it.
