sorry, another what car did i see (aston martin)

sorry guys, i know a thread like this has just been posted but im wanting to know what aston martin i have seen,ive not long been back from popping to my local village shops when i spotted a old sleak looking car. i was in abit of a hurry as the shop was shutting soon but i noticed this old car had its roof down and on closer look was an aston martin.

i remember it had a long,low and sleak body to it. it was dark blue and had its roof down, the back had a very slight boot lip/spoiler and it had 'twin' exhausts on the left hand side. they werent any fancy tail pipes and although i didnt look at the reg or model etc ( was in a hurry) im going to take a gamble and say it was a pre 1980 car.

i have searched the classifieds on here and cant see anything like it.

i know its a long shot but any aston buffs out there?

i dont think it was guys, exhaust pipes were both together and on the left hand side. boot looks similar to the last pic though

To me, the fact the exhausts were mounted together (I presume you mean a twin tailpipe?) points to the straight 8 engined DB5/DB6's.

what?? i cant post on that thread where i didnt know what it was!lol, you know most people there probably didnt even know it was an aston martin, and there it was with the roof down with the owner nowhere to be seen!!
