Removing and replacing a brake light cover
Discussion
I've rather foolishly managed to crack to brake light on my wifes car (Mark 5 VW golf, the outer drivers side bit).
I have no experience at all of car maintenance beyond checking oil and tyre pressures (sorry to those of you that this probably annoys!). However, this strikes me as something that will be reasonably easy and significantly cheaper if I do it myself.
Questions
Is Euro Car Parts a reasonable place to buy a new one? Are they genuine/indistinguishable?
Is removing the brake light as easy as I suspect?
Google appears to be my friend for a step by step guide but anyone know a particularly good website?
Thanks

Yep, Euro Car Parts or GSF Car Parts will be able to help with either a genuine or good quality pattern part. Can't help you with a specific location for instructions, but sadly you can't assume it will be a simple job... in theory you should be able to open the tailgate, remove some carpet or a panel and gain access to the screws that retain the lamp cluster. However I recently tried to help a neighbour do this on a Citroen C4 and had to give up after a long period of struggling to locate the last screw.
