Calling all northerners!

Travelling up north from Reading to Burnley this afternoon at 2pm.

With people leaving early for the football (which may have a good or bad effect depending on how you look at it), are there any major issues on the M6 at the moment that are waiting to screw me over?

Cheers smile

To be fair, a journey north is much better than journey south

Haha I was thinking the same thing! I thought he would be taking about London - Inverness or something, not a journey up the M6 wink

It's the M6, regardless of timing you'll be buggered, hateful piece of road

The only road works (Av Speed things) are between J8-10a (between junction 1 & manchester anyway (I dont go past manchester much)... This is a bloody slow bit (past Birmingham) anyway but you can miss it all by going up the toll road (£5 but will probably be worth it on a Friday night)

It will probably be slow around Manchester aswell.... it always is!

Enjoy
