Fantastic pic of a 997 turbo airborne.

I had hoped that last month's tribue to the F1 was a warm up for an exclusive on the MP4-12c, but this issue is 599GTO and SLS.

It's great that they got the Bristol Fighter up against the SLS.

It is a great shot, as is the flying R8 in the same article. Just wonder what the PR team of each company thinks when they see pictures of the demonstraters flying like that

i don't think they care unless they report that something broke..


it makes the cars look more exciting. they can;t show pictures like that themselves so they're glad the magazines do.

the cars are part of the marketing budget. i suspect they pretty much assume they have a zero value from day one.

they then fix them up and use them for corporate events and/or long term test cars from maagzines.

or once in a while if they're tatsy cars i have heard of them being converted for soem sort of motorsport type duty.
