£2 of unleaded in a diesel engine?
Discussion
It will be fine. £2 at £1.20 / litre is 1.66 litres, £69 of diesel at £1.22 / litre is 56.5 litres. So there is roughly 3% petrol in the tank.
The killer for petrol in diesels is lack of lubrication for the HP pump and injectors as they are lubricated by the fuel, not the engine oil, and 3% dillution isn't going to make a difference to that.

We used to add a gallon of petrol to around 12 gallons of diesel in our Transits back in the 80s. It was supposed to make 'em run better?
My wife done £10 worth of petrol in tne ovlov D5, filled with diesel no probs.A Boating friend of mine said that big diesel boat engines often have a bit of petrol added to make it run better.
So nothing to worry about.

I often wonder why people measure the volume of petrol in price, it makes no sense. The killer for petrol in diesels is lack of lubrication for the HP pump and injectors as they are lubricated by the fuel, not the engine oil, and 3% dillution isn't going to make a difference to that.
I once put £12 of unleaded in a Clio DCi that was so empty it hopped into the petrol station. Drove off and it wasn't until a mile or so down the road that I noticed it was sounding a bit rough. Pulled over, chucked a jerry can of diesel in it and then drove up the petrol station and brimmed it. No problems at all...
