ADAC breakdown cover

Hi all

I am looking to purchase european breakdown cover for our driving holiday this summer. We are travelling through a number of European countrys and having a weekend at the Nurburgring.

I have been reading that ADAC membership "plus" offers full european breakdown cover for 80euros (about £66).

I understand that it is the policy holder thats covered rather than a car.

In event of accident/ breakdown, ADAC will:

Transport your car home to the UK if it cant be fixed in 3 days locally.
Refund policy holder's recovery charges from the Nurburgring.

Am I missing anything regarding the ADAC cover as it sounds pretty good value for money?

If you are traveling to the ring, they have an office in the mall at the ring. You could ask them all the questions there and if happy pay for the subscription there. I'm looking to get cove myself there in my next trip.

When there you can also arrange to have a tour of the ring and do some shopping and a lap or two.

I would like to set the cover up before our 9 day trip starts so we are covered for its full duration. I will be at the Nurburgring for the last weekend of the trip so its not really an option for me to buy there.
