M25/ASC...??

My journey to & from work consists of doing battle on the M25....!

I have to go through the average speed camera's, like all the other lab rats...I and the other rats obey..ish the 50 or 40! mph limit.

Am I missing something when some cars just blast through?? It's like they're Royal or something!!
Bloody annoying!

Has anyone been ticketed or recieved an NIP as result of speeding through this stretch of m/way? (jct 16-21..ish)

Been using the M25 between J10 and J14 every week since 1993 and I'm sure I have been through at above the posted limit on more than one occaision but have never received a nip. But seeing as at the moment I am trying to get the most out of a tankfull, I very rarely get above an indicated 70, even when it's quiet!

Are you sure they are ASCs?

I think they are just normal cameras on *some* of the gantries, so presumably you learn where they are with experience...

I think he's probably talking about the average cams in the roadworks.

Why is it "Bloody annoying"? Sounds like you have typical lab rat attitude to me.

I've seen a number of cameras flash in the variable speed limit section. The general internet knowledge is the cameras are only one when the variable speed limit is in place, and then they're quite generous.

SPECs cameras seem to be equally as generous, the cameras through the a1m tunnel are safe for at least 50mph (it's a 40 section)
