Some nice work there, then the guy gets a soldering iron and a few LED's ....

Absolutely stunning black spray job.

I don't really get what he's done, pretty sure photoshop could do the same.

He also can't spell.

Let's face it, you're going to be able to pick this up for a song, it'll need some work but mechanically it sounds good.
These will be desirable.....well I desire em, so it would be a brilliant project to take on, strip all the leds and ice out, trim off, respray, new seats and bobs yer auntie, a rare, rapid and handsome classic for not a lot of bunce

I love the 900. Don't see a problem with this one. AN FMIC for sure is a good idea and an RRFPR also helps. Back when saabcentral.com was saab900.com and wasn't overrun with yanks there were a few UK members who had gone down this route and had got 260-320bhp out of these cars with a few tweeks. If I recall the problem was the dying gearboxes and not the engine.

(I do wish saab could/would make something as distinctive as the 900 again)

Nice car ruined by that headlining - I don't even mind the LED lights (subtle and effective) but that head lining... also the welds in the pics are nasty

To be honest, I like that. I'll lose the interior LED madness but the rest is fine. I'm watching to see if it goes cheap - I could do with a replacement for the Aero soon.

Sorted ones are fetching £4500 plus, so it might be worth a punt if all the rust has been caught and the welding isn't too bad.

I've had two 8 valve turbos and loved them

Nice car, high mileage mind. Like every other sane person, the headlining would be destroyed. But otherwise looks good.

ETA

I'm now looking through eBay to find one I would buy. That classic game we all play biggrin

Very peculiar. Also not sure whats going on with the 'ive taken photos of it with the doors / boot open. In the rain. At night.' thing

The 320 bhp example was Matt Faulks', had a lot more work done to it than that and ran ~280 in road time. Mine was rolling roaded at 295 PS (291 BHP) and 339 lbs/ft/460 Nm and had a completely new engine built - Cosworth pistons, 9-5 cylinder head with bigger valves, bespoke intake manifold, cams, liquid cooled IC, upgraded turbo etc. For a car with a FMIC and á few 'tweeks' 220-240 bhp is a far more realistic target.

Just bought a LPT to join my other two FPT's - It's clean everywhere, no rust even in the tranny tunnels and water reservoir. It also has had a FMIC from a 9000 - Just need to figure out the pipework, and then my biggest dilemma is do I put it to FPT/APC or add an abbott chargecooler? £750 is a bit too much but they are rated well and no way am I going to sell. Nobody I know has driven both - Chargecoolers apparently are quicker but more dangerous to the engine.... Decisions Decisions.
