i'm looking for a commuter shed, 2k miles a month. don't care what it is as i'll be claiming 40p per mile back in expenses.

comparing boring and okish cars, with 3yrs ncb, i get:

1.3l ford ka [group 2 iirc] - £530/yr
2.0hdi pug 306 [group 5] - £560/yr
1.6l mx5 jap import [grp 12?] - £730/yr
2.5l v6 mx6 [group? but def >12] - £540/yr

how they come up with these figures is beyond me!
