Quick question, can you MOT a car that has no clutch?

The car still starts and runs absolutely fine, it just cannot move under its own power as the clutch has completely gone.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing no as they wouldn't be able to do the brake test.

I did one about a month ago, nightmare pushing in and out of the rollers for the brake test. You need a friendly test station though.

Depends on the garage as mentioned above, but in the test manual a reason to refuse to test is...
"The vehicle is not fit to be driven when necessary to complete the test because of a lack of fuel, or oil, or for any other reason."

Search the MOT testing guide, contents and then appendix 3

I wouldn't be pushing it in and out of our test station if it was presented with a knackered clutch.
