Anyone with Admiral and got an SP30?
Discussion
My insurance is up for renewal soon, and I received an SP30 in March. Their policy documentation states that I don't need to inform them of the SP30 until I renew, so I haven't. This would indicate that it's not a "big deal" to them, right?
So why, when I get quotes online as a new customer, does the price go up by about £150-£200 with the SP30 declared? I thought insurance companies weren't too bothered generally!
Is this going to translate to my renewal price with them as well?
Anyone got any experiences to share?
Thanks

Admiral dosn't charge mid-term for motoring convictions, they just need the info at renewal to generate a correct renewal premium. So why, when I get quotes online as a new customer, does the price go up by about £150-£200 with the SP30 declared? It will vary per insurer as to how it affects the premium some insurer's may not rate highly on them some may.
