Maybe you should stop focusing on 'big bucks' cars and look at cars which give you a real buzz. Stick something comfy on the driveway for long trips and have a toy car for fun trips. Ariel Atom, Lotuses, TVRs, classic Ferraris etc all give a special feeling.

Have you considered a 1996 Toyota Corolla 3dr 1.6? Reliability shouldn't be an issue.

Stop buying new/nearly new cars.

Whatever you buy next, make it more than about 25 years old.

That will make it much more interesting.

According to your profile you've already had a Cayenne so why buy another one? Or more to the point why did you get rid of the previous one?

Cancel the Pork, buy a G55 AMG. Serve with a large portion of right foot.

^ Absolutely this. I perhaps wouldn't go as far as 25 years myself, but I'm thinking of an old Jag or a TVR. Or both, given your budget. You could get a beautiful XJ12 for motorway work, and a cherished-all-its-life V8 Cerbera or Griffith 500 for sunny Sundays, and have more than enough cash saved from the Cayenne to rebuild each of them five times if need be!

OP, you need two cars.

Get a fun car for spirited driving and a luxury barge for every day.

As mentioned above, get yourself something comfortable like say a nice Merc And then get yourself a Caterfield, Exige, Atom, radical for some proper fun.
