Enquired about an XJS today, asked the usual questions and then tried to book a viewing. It's a couple of hours away so wanted to view it tomorrow afternoon. Seller, which is a business, says that's fine.

Got a call off him just now, saying he's cancelling the viewing as the football is on.

Guaranteed a lost sale from me now!

Football must be more important than actually having money coming into your business in these hard times eh!nuts

Football is a pain the arse at the moment.

I'm being messed about by a contractor on a £15k job at the moment. I understand the reality of the situation. Even if he could commit to doing the job when we need it, his bloody staff would just not turn up.

"When are you going to put that crock up for sale? I want a holiday!"

"Ok dear. I'll go and take some pictures and advertise it now"

"Why haven't you sold that thing yet?"

"All I get is time wasters dear. Now if you don't mind the football is on!"
