I'll pop this Q in here if that's OK as the detailing section has not had a post or reply made in that forum for over 3 hours wink

On the way to the airport, our little moggy decided (on the one occasion that we did not pop a towel in the carrier) that she needed a pee.

Of course, every pillock under the sun did something stupid in front of us after that causing me to brake firmly and the pee ended up all over the rear seat and the carpet and mats. Poor little moggy was meowing for England and sliding back and forth in her own puddle of pee. Bless her.

So, we had the car valeted whilst at the airport and came back 2 weeks later thinking that the smell of pee would be there but it just smells of a lovely fruity, maily orange smell (a bit like swarfega).

So can anyone suggest what this might have been?
The company are not easy to speak to as the work was booked via the parking, I don't even know who did it and they are reluctant to pass on any details.

Smells great and I'd like to continue to use it but without travelling 1.5 hours to pay someone else £30 for an interior valet and to park the car for a day at airport parking smile

You could ask the valeters; I'd be interested myself as I like a nice smelling car smile

Difficult one, OP; something similar happened in our Golf when trying to rush our cat to the vet. The smell is delightful and difficult to shift! I used warm water first, then a car interior fabric cleaner (something that you could buy in Halfords or the supermarket). Then a lot of car air freshener, driving around with the windows down etc. as the smell does not go away too easily...

I think you may have missed the point of the OP's post.

Is it just me that read that and thought that your Morris Minor had sprung a coolant leak? The rest of the post was a bit confusing until I reinterpreted that line...

Look at Autosmart products.....or Autobrite Direct as both of these companies supply the trade with a variety of cleaners and odour removal chemicals.
