If you are, you are a prize co*k and a c*nt of the highest order.

You drove down the hard shoulder (west bound) on the M26 at 07:15 this morning with your hazard lights (why?) on and then proceeded to weave in and out of traffic and cut across the hatched areas etc.

I doubt very much indeed that you were doing this as a result of an "emergency" so what's your excuse? You have a personalised T5 plate and HID's so you obviously like your car, why drive up the shoulder just to avoid a queue?

I did observe a hell of a lot of bad driving this morning mainly from van drivers and company cars (Mercs!), guess everyone was having a bad day!

Your point being?

Otherwise I agree, people driving like inconsiderate bell-ends is a real pain in the arse.

It was only 1 Merc this morning, a black 10 plate that was driving very aggressively and cutting a lot of people up. He/She was by no means in the minority but this was one particular example that stood out a mile (as well as the Volvo)!

Is General Gassing turning into some Victor Meldrew section where people rant on about every single driver who pissed them off that day?

That's going to be thrilling for ever, isn't it.

They couldn't make themselves herd over the noise.

Genuinely I did laugh, thanks

As for this Volvo driver.

Next time I get a call to say that a member of my family has been in an accident and is critically ill in Hospital I will remember not to put my hazards on and make best possible progress just incase I upset someone and it ends up in General Gassing on PistonHeads.

Then again it might just have been some weapon thinking weren't worthy of sitting in a traffic jam. Either way I doubt this thread will change anything.

Used to see a bloke in an M3 in Cheshire do this every morning, reg was "H4LL L", he used to use the chevrons, weave in and out, cannon up the side of standing traffic, he became a bit of a local legend, told people at work and they would come in excitedly having seen him, and yes, he was misbehaving. He nearly cause me to crash by overtaking me in Wilmslow town centre, plate was on another cheaper BMW at that point but the guy was psycho, not seen him since, may have moved away, may have gone to prison !

It does bemuse me that if you are going to drive so aggressively and with such disregard for the rule of the road that you would make yourself more identifiable by having a personalised registration, especially one thats obviously your name and spaced illegally, it does seem to me that those with private plates do tend to be sometimes less considerate, is thinking they are a good idea part of the same mindset, we have a nice one on retention but now way do I want it on my car.

He's a bit of a nemesis of yours, isn't he?

I think it might even be your "fight club" alter ego...
