Roundabout woes.

Aproaching this roundabout from the top of the picture down the A575, is it permissible to turn left from the right lane, as every time I use this I have a near miss from people doing this very thing, all to get in front of no more than 6 cars at the most.

The road markings seem to indicate otherwise, but there are two lanes at the left exit. I approach in the left (straight ahead and left) lane but aim for the right of the two lanes to go right at the next roundabout. But there is always some charlie in the right (straight ahead and right) lane that expects to go the same way as me.
