I nudged a barrier with the rear bumper when reversing into a car parking space in a car park. There must have been a sharp edge as a small hole has appeared about the size of a ballpoint pen tip. Whilst it is really tiny, its on a white car and shows up clearly. Was just going to get a white touch up paint kit from BWM and put a blob of paint in there - or is there something else I can use to fill the hole? Car is an E92 3 series.

Tiny dab of touch up pencil is the way forward.

But I do mean a tiny dab. I've seen mountains made out of molehills with touch up stick happy car owners...

Not sure I'd bother trying to fill it with anything. P38 needs to be sanded back otherwise it looks ste. Bodywork is a real bd to work on too in my experience, it is easy to spend a long time on it and have the end result look crap particularly if you don't know exactly what you are doing. Can a dealer not do something for you? It won't be cheap but if its as conspicuous as you say it will pay for itself when you sell the car.

You are probably right, just wait till I take it in for a service next and ask how much they will charge to repair. As its BMW I fully expect them to give me a quote to replace the entire car.....
