'Love The Beast' - tonight 10pm, More4
Discussion
As above, Eric Bana's film about his restoration and racing of his Ford Falcon XB Coupe on the Targa Tasmania is on Channel 4 tonight at 10pm, looks well worth a watch.

For those who can't get More4 this may be helpful... www.tvcatchup.com
I'm nothing to do with it, but very useful for those occasions where your freeview or freesat lets you down. Also works on iPhones VERY well.

Great film, and Clarkson seems like a bigger knob than usual in it
With the exception of the 'all muscle cars are crap' comment he seemed fairly agreeable.
Although when he said that I thought Eric Bana was about to get up and storm off - the look he gives him when he's talking about his pride and joy was priceless.
I thought that film was excellent, not only because it features some spectacular racing footage and Eric Bana and his mates come across like top blokes, but also because it explains, intelligently and sensitively, why petrolheads are the way they are.
I found myself agreeing wholeheartedly with the doctor's comments. There is something about modern society - modern, consumatron-5000-infested British society especially - that suggests that 'hobbies' are pointless wastes of time for geeks, and I'm forever meeting boring people who don't seem to have a personality, merely because there's nothing they seem to enjoy 'doing', all their leisure time is 'done to them' through the TV, herd-holidays or excesses of cheap alcohol.
I felt what this film really said, most poignantly, was that you need to find what your hobby is and embrace it, because otherwise you'll never truly be yourself. And it managed to say it in a gritty Aussie way that Hollywood would've drenched in slow-motion, slushy music and floods of tears.
