I'm with Tradex at the moment and went for a fresh quote as the risk has been lowered by a significant amount but the quote they supplied only went down by a few pounds. Before I renew or haggle I'm wondering if there are any recommended insurers out there I could try? Thanks.

Some friends use unicom insurance and have had no problems, so at renewal I got a quote and they were cheaper, for better cover, albeit not loads, but cheaper? Always worth a try and see what they come back with.

Find a broker who knows whats' good.

I've been using the broker Cliftonside (Accademy), ask for Keith on 01179 734 258
MMA are quite good, better than Tradex but all the road risks products seem to be quite similar (ie not very good).
