Car Hire - Gatwick Airport

I have a wedding to go to in September this year that will require hiring a car to get from Gatwick Airport down into Kent and Sussex. While I may normally be tempted to go for random options, I have a constraint of Dr Junior to add into the mix, along with associated kit.

Can anyone recommend a car hire firm that I can use from Gatwick that can provide something a more interesting than a Corsa diesel that can ferry me and my family to a wedding without breaking the bank?

I need a 3-day hire over a weekend in early September.

Enterprise can have some interesting cars in the group, but it's luck of the draw. Thrifty do have some Golf GTDi on fleet. Avis select has BMW 118d, 3s and 5s. Hertz has the Fiat 500 Abarth on fleet and a few more fun cars. Really its best to visit the websites and see whats on offer. To date I have booked a regular car with many companies and so far got -

Thrifty - Golf Auto became VW Passat CC GT
Europcar - Astra Auto became Mercedes C220 CDi
Thrifty - Passat Auto became Landrover LR4
Alamo - Astra Auto became Volvo V70 D5
Hertz - Peugeot 307 CC became VW Eos TSi
Avis - Mondeo Auto became BMW 520d

and I never asked for the upgrade, I may be the luckiest guy in the world but it seems to happen all the time.

Having looked through the Hertz site, I'm tempted by the Abarth, or possibly the Brera. Plus with Quidco I can get 10% off.
